You can never get an original packing tape that is still in the wrapping process. Even if the wrapping has been completed, there are still many wraps to go and packaging materials to be cut away. The cotton used for packing tape stretches and wrinkles as it is used, and this can cause misinterpretation of measurements and normal variations in tape widths. The 2" Nichiban product is therefore the best product that we have tested to date when it comes to original packing tape design and quality.
